Trying to trace a fake $100 bill back to Putin is like trying to put trousers on a donkey....the more interesting part of the "newspiece" was the woman's discussion: some kernels of truth there, but overall, a bad piece of "news" reportage. Watching this makes me ashamed of American so-called "news" programs. I don't believe much of what I hear from CNN, anyway---it's really gone downhill in professionalism since its inception.

The last statement should show how FALSE and FAKE CNN's commentary was. I dislike CNN very much, never watch it becaause they have their own liberal agenda.
About the ending statement ... "survey of young Russians" ... "they see the United States as Enemy #1" ... WHAT A LIE, from my own personal experiences!!! I have a young Russian friend, age 20, visited and worked in U.S. this summer. I met her face-to-face, we talked and we email each other regularly. There were about 2,000 young Russian visitors in that area, I met 20-30 of them. We enjoyed each other very much! My young Russian friend is from Tomck, she has invited me to visit her lovely native city. We are FRIENDS! And THAT is just one reason for me to view the entire CNN commentary as 100% lie
As Manya said, I am ashamed of American news. And it has not just begun, most of them have reported lies and twisted facts for several years now.
I only watch Fox (only occasionally), because they do seem to be a lot more objective.

when I was in Russia last year I had a few problems exchanging US$100 bills. There appeared to be a printing error on Benjamin Franklin's (? I'm an Aussie so I am not sure who appears on your money) face resulting in a highly visible vertical line. I always, eventually, passed them, but it resulted in a few hold ups, and I thought I was going to be detained a couple of times.

I was shocked to see such kind of thing on CNN! Sorry, but I think that the main problem of the americans is.. the ablolute ignorance! Really! The limited knowledge of Russia and russian people - thats what makes people like that "newsman" powerful. Their target audience - people who believe that there're bears walking on the Red Square. They even truelly think that all the russians hate americans and they believe that there is a kind of "conspiracy" against America. Well, they see what they want to see...
Of course I don't mean that all the americans are like that (and the privious comments prove it, and I should say that I felt a great relief reading it)
But still... we are afraid of things we don't understand. Don't you think so?

It is sad to hear this kind of stuff on the news. It is the epitome of home-grown propaganda because there are people who will actually believe it.

One shouldn't judge CNN solely on the basis of this right-wing wingnut, Glen Beck. He's CNN's response to having been accused of being part of the Left-wing media conspiracy in the US (accused, I must add, by Faux News among others).
