08/11: Moscow Day Trips
Are you a long-term Moscow resident who needs a break from the big city on weekends? Are you a holiday-maker who wants to mix a bit of peace and serenity with the hustle and bustle of the capital when you visit? Or are you a tourist who prefers to shun the major tourist sights in favour of the road less traveled? If so, then you should definitely check out the new Moscow Day Trips section on Way to Russia, as should anyone else with even a remote interest. At the moment there are three places listed:
Arkangelskoye - the most impressive estate in the vicinity of Moscow.
Gorki Leninskie - the estate south of Moscow where Lenin spent his last months and died.
Sergiev Posad - home of the Trinity Monastery of St Sergius, perhaps the most beautiful in all of Russia.
